About Dermal Filler
Dermal filler is a hyaluronic acid–based gel used to add soft structure, restore lost volume, and enhance the natural contours of your face. It’s one of the most customizable treatments in aesthetics. Perfect for subtle lip shape, lifting the cheeks, defining the jawline, or creating overall facial balance. At Beach Haven, we take a conservative, anatomy-first approach so your results stay natural and harmonious with your features. Everything is individualized, and every treatment begins with a full consultation to determine what will give you the most beautiful, balanced outcome.
Pricing:
1mL Syringe = $750 | 0.5mL Syringe = $450
Dermal filler is priced per syringe. The number of syringes you need depends entirely on your goals, anatomy, and the area(s) being treated. Some areas, like lips, usually only require a half syringe, while structural areas such as the cheeks, chin, or jawline often need 1–3 syringes for the best, most natural-looking results.
During your consultation, we’ll assess your facial proportions, talk through your goals, and recommend the amount needed to achieve a balanced, beautiful outcome.
A quick breakdown:
- Pricing is per syringe, not per area.
- Filler lasts 6–18 months depending on the area, product type, and your metabolism.
- You’ll always know the price before we begin, full transparency.
We take a conservative, “less is more” approach and build gradually, ensuring your results stay soft, natural, and beautifully balanced.
Common Treatment Areas
The image to the left shows typical ranges for the most commonly treated zones, including:
- Lips – hydration, shape, smoothing fine lines
- Chin & Jawline – improved profile + definition
- Cheeks – lift, contour, restored midface volume
- Midface – softening under-eye hollowing, structural support
- Temples – replenishing volume loss for a smoother silhouette
- Marionette Lines – gentle softening around the mouth
Every face is unique, so your exact amount will depend on your anatomy, goals, and how conservative or transformative you want your results to be.
What to Expect
- Your injector will start with a full consultation, assessing your facial structure, proportions, skin quality, and goals. Together you’ll decide which areas will give the most balanced, natural result.
- Numbing is provided to keep you comfortable.
- The treatment itself takes about 30–45 minutes, depending on the areas being treated.
- You can go right back to your day. There’s minimal downtime. You may experience mild swelling, tenderness, or pinpoint bruising for a few days, which is totally normal.
- Results are immediate, but they continue to refine over 1–2 weeks as the filler settles.
FILLER FAQ
Does getting filler hurt?
Most clients describe filler as mildly uncomfortable but very tolerable. We use strong medical-grade numbing and all of our hyaluronic acid fillers contain lidocaine, which helps the area go numb as we treat. You’ll feel pressure, not sharp pain.
How long does it take to see results?
Results are immediate, but expect some swelling the first few days. Your true result settles around 2 weeks, once swelling fully resolves and the filler integrates into the tissue.
When should I get toxin before a special event?
We recommend bookingat least 4 weeksbefore your event. Most areas need 2 weeks to settle — and this gives you time for a touch-up if needed.
How long do results last?
Filler typically lasts 6–18 months depending on the area treated, the product used, your metabolism, and how much filler was placed. Smaller amounts break down faster; larger structural areas (jawline, cheeks, chin) last longer.
Will I look overfilled or unnatural?
Not here. Our technique is conservative, balanced, and tailored to your anatomy. We work in small, strategic amounts to enhance, not change, your features.
Can I workout after my appointment?
Avoid sweating, intense workouts, and hot environments (saunas, hot yoga, steam rooms) for 24–48 hours to minimize swelling and prevent migration.
Is filler safe?
Yes. When performed by trained medical professionals using FDA-approved fillers (which we source directly from the manufacturer). All injections at Beach Haven are performed by Registered Nurses under our Medical Director. Filler has an excellent safety profile, and we always thoroughly assess your anatomy and medical history prior to treatment.
What kind of filler brands do you have?
While our injectors have trained extensively with all major hyaluronic acid filler brands on the market, we proudly use the RHA® Collection for the vast majority of treatments at Beach Haven. RHA stands for Resilient Hyaluronic Acid, and it’s the only filler designed to move and stretch with your natural facial expressions.
Because of its flexibility, longevity, and beautiful, natural-looking finish, RHA performs exceptionally well in high-motion areas (like lips, around the mouth, under eyes) and also creates soft yet structured results in areas like the cheeks, chin, and jawline.
We’ve chosen the RHA line because it consistently delivers the balanced, subtle, and elegant outcomes our patients love. If another product is ever better suited for your anatomy or goals, we’ll discuss that during your consultation.
Can I get treated if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. Dermal fillers are not approved for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and we do not perform treatment during this time.
What's the downtime like?
Expect mild swelling, tenderness, and possible bruising for a few days, especially with lips. Most clients return to normal activities immediately, but you’ll want to avoid events for a week if bruising is a concern.
Can filler be dissolved?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be reversed using hyaluronidase. This gives filler an added layer of safety and flexibility.
